Then how come they’re all so boring and repetitive? Without taking some steps to customizing your Facebook presence, your fan page will look like every other page on Facebook.

Recently flyte helped Levey & Wagley, Maine attorneys-at-law , upgrade their Web presence. First, a bit about Levey & Wagley: located in Winthrop, Maine, this law firm offers services in the following categories: Elder Law Estate Planning Probate Special Needs Trusts Real Estate Divorce & Family Law, and Mediation & Alternative Dispute Resolution We performed what we call a “WordPress Port.” We take a traditional, static Web site, and create a WordPress theme based on that design. We then port over all the content, included some training, and voila! The law firm, the small business owner, or the non-profit agency can now add, edit and delete their own content, create new pages, upload photos or embed videos to their heart’s content

Small Business, Marketing And Web Design With only about 12 hours of year 2009 left to spend, I guess this would be a good time to wrap up. Since my latest trend was to change this blog’s focus from smaller, more often posts to larger posts made more seldom and random. Hopefully by next year I will find a balance between the two, as I get a lot of things I want to share but not that much time to do it.

No, I’m not suggesting you use LinkedIn to spam prospective customers. Rather, I’m saying that it’s being done already with company’s and their affiliates setting up straw men (and, in this case, women) to drive traffic. I’m hoping that someone from LinkedIn will see this post and put some up some new barriers to keep LinkedIn spam to a minimum, before it becomes a real problem

The other day as I left yet another voicemail for a prospect who hadn’t returned my previous few calls or emails, I wondered how many unreturned “touches” most people leave before giving up, so I quickly tweeted my question . I was surprised that the answers that came back were almost invariably one or two, although Marty Hamre’s magic number was 7 and VirtualGalt invoked Brian Tracy’s name in suggesting that 5 was the right answer

This should come as no surprise to Hardware.com customers; we have been informing our client base of the upgrade to G6 and the advantages of doing just this. Hardware.com was the second to announce the new G6 server range when it was launched in April 09, HP asked us not to pre-empt their official launch so hp.com was the first. HP generally has a 3-month overlap period between introducing a new server and the old version becoming end of life

Many stories, myths and films revolve around a near impossible mission, people travelling miles in the most inhospitable environments to bring back an extraordinary item. It’s all about the quest, not the actual item itself, it’s the mission that matters and gets everyone pointing in the same direction, that’s about a common goal, leadership and change. It creates action and motion, and motion in some direction is often better than no motion at all

Finding your network infrastructure quest
The digital revolution is changing everything, and it affects the way business is run and the continued reliance on the network infrastructure to deliver the digital communication that drives business today. This has also affected marketing from: BOUGHT (advertising to mass audiences), to OWNED (websites, blogs, emails) and now and in the future EARNED (customer interaction, feedback, viral, forums, real-time engagement, free content = attention and their data, news, authentic, open-source thinking)

We have all heard the news stories about civil servants losing sensitive public data on laptops that that have been left on trains and in taxis – and this HP security development was created as a result of the embarrassments in Whitehall. HP have developed embedded security in their business laptops and desktops so that when they are stolen the data is remotely deleted on the hard drive and they will also be able to locate the stolen PC as soon as it is connected to the Internet
